Head to the ‘Placements’ tab on your ElderHub. This is where you can view all available placements that match your eligibility.
If you see a placement that interests you, click ‘See placement details’ to view more information. When reading through this information, it’s important to ensure you are happy with these aspects of the placement:
The level of care and skills required
The start date and length
The distance to travel
How much you will get paid
If you would like to be considered for the placement, click ‘Apply for placement’. Please read through and tick the checkboxes
After submitting, you can check the status of your application in the ‘Applications’ tab in the ‘Placements’ section of your ElderHub.
Elder will confirm by email if you have been selected by the client. This process typically takes a few days. Please wait for confirmation from Elder before making any arrangements for the placement.
Elder expects carers to apply for placements only if they are available and committed to attend if selected. If your placement application is successful, we will expect you to attend as planned.
If you are unable to commit to a placement after applying, you should let us know as soon as possible so that we can make alternative arrangements for care.
