How to set up your preferences

By sharing your preferences with us, you'll see more relevant placement opportunities.

As Elder increasingly offers more types of placements, we want to make it easier for you to view and apply for the jobs you are interested in. To set up your preferences, follow the instructions below:

  1. Log in to the Elder Hub

  2. Click on the “placements” button

  3. Select the “preferences” tab

  4. You'll find a series of questions that should take no more than a minute to answer

  5. Once you're happy with your preferences, click save! We'll now be able to align your preferences with placement opportunities.


You will be able to specify between, ‘live-in care’, ‘visiting care’, ‘ongoing placements’ and ‘fixed-length placements’. Unless you opt-out, all of these options will default to the ‘Yes’ setting.


Please note that you are able to change your preferences at any time. We encourage you to regularly review your preferences to ensure that we're showing you the relevant placements.
