If you head to the ‘Placements’ section of the ElderHub, you’ll find all available placements that you are eligible for. If you can’t see any placements, it’s likely due to eligibility.
A number of factors can influence placement eligibility;
Specific expertise or requirements
We only show placements that meet your care skills and expertise. For example, you’ll only be eligible for a placement requiring Moving and Handling if you have stated this skill on your profile. If you think any of your care skills and expertise are missing from your profile, we encourage you to add the relevant experience by uploading your work experience and reference details to your profile. Scheduled placements
We only show placements that don’t overlap with your existing commitments. For example, if you are currently working on a placement, you'll only be eligible for future placements starting after your current position finishes. Likewise, if you have a future placement lined up, you wouldn’t be eligible for ongoing placements starting before your future placement (because it would overlap with your future commitments).
Preferences
Our preferences feature is a helpful tool to find placements that suit you best. The feature will filter out placements that don’t meet your preferences. For example, if you have a preference against working around pets or other animals, we will not show these placements to you. Most preferences can be set as ‘Sometimes’, meaning you can still view placements in this category and decide for yourself if they are suitable.
We encourage you to regularly review your preferences to ensure that we're showing you the relevant placements.
